This award winning book for children ages 4 to 8 by Technical Training Consultants Inc. (the leader in locomotive training worldwide) was the winner of the Children's category at the "Beach Book Festival" in Atlantic City New Jersey. Named one of the hottest reads of the summer! Trains and Real Locomotives is the second book for children from award winning author Bill Trombello. Always fascinated with trains, children can now understand a train's complete journey from the time it leaves the repair shop until the time it arrives at the station. Along the way, they will meet Engineer Obie, Mechanic Mike, Carl the Carman, and Brakeman Bob. Through the book's beautiful illustrations, children will also see the different types of locomotives that pull trains. So if your child wonders about, or simply just loves, trains, the Real Locomotives books are for you!

I tried a sample, but it was incomplete, (only a couple of pages long with only the title page, etc.). So I bought the book but am very disappointed. If you are looking for an illustrated encyclopedia type book on trains, this is not it. This is just a children's story book about trains. i feel mis-lead and am asking for a refund. This could have been avoided with a couple more pages on the sample.
