I fell in love with this memoir from the moment I first opened it up in my English 11 honors class, and now I have my very own copy of it! This is a great coming-of-age story that just so happens to be true. This book can have us switch from seeing people in the LGBT community as "abominations" to actual human beings who live their lives like everybody else. If you want books that'll change your life, have this one in your list of must-reads.
