This is a well thought out cookbook and filled with awesome Thai recipes. Before receiving this cookbook, I had never attempted to try making my own Thai food, but the recipes are very user friendly and easy to follow and every dish I've tried has been really delicious! I have never been that great in the kitchen but my family loves everything I've cooked from the Thai Slow Cooker Cookbook and it is a great additon to my new slow cooker. Not only is it filled with recipes but also adds a bit more culture by giving some background information about Thailand and Thai food, an explaination of the ingredients used in the dishes, and everything needed to make these tasty recipes. This cookbook is ideal for someone who is interested in trying Thai food and has never prepared it as it explains quite a bit and is easy to follow. I love to be able to introduce my family to other cultures and especially through food. I also was able to tweak a few things. One more thing...the ingredients were all easy to find in my regular grocery store. I received this book at no charge in exchange for an unbiased and honest review. However, all opinions are entirely my own as always.
  • Only Good If You're Familar With Thai

I feel this book is great for those who already love Thai foods. You really need to be familar with this cuisine in order to get on board with this book. Some of th recipes looked really good, but others were way to complex for me. I love the idea of th slow cooker factor, but a lot of these recipes require a lot of work prior to putting it into the crockpot. A lot of the ingreients seem rather complex, and you need to have an Asian Market near ou to make it worth it. I don't know what half these ingriendents are so I wouldn't want to make something I truly had no idea about.
